Yes. CalliFax is HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant. All faxes are encrypted in transit and at rest. You control how long faxes are retained on our servers after delivery. You have multiple options. Send from email by attaching a document and addressing it to the fax number (e.g., 2125551234@callifaxdomain). Send from the CalliFax web portal by uploading a document and entering the recipient's fax number. Or connect a physical fax machine through our optional fax adapter and send the traditional way — the adapter routes the fax over the internet instead of a phone line.

Incoming faxes are delivered as PDF attachments to your email inbox. You can also view and download them from the CalliFax web portal. If you have a fax adapter connected to a physical machine, incoming faxes print automatically just like they would on a traditional fax line.
